We can argue endlessly about Thatcher. And people does not get tired to remember and admire who she was for the whole world. The Iron Lady are feared by the whole political elite of the world and are listened by the most eminent men of the Earth. And, meanwhile, the beginning of her life in no way supposed that little Margaret would make the best Prime Minister of England of the present day.
This study showed that everything is possible, if you are going to crave it and hard to build career brick by brick, not stopping for a moment. This is the main reason for the success of Thatcher.
Her path to the political top was long, but the main factor that Thatcher became Prime Minister, is mistrust of the people to established by the end of 1970-s the situation of the government and Margaret’s progressive views, which clearly found sympathy from the people and gave her the most votes. Margaret came into power so organic and beautiful, as if she had been there for decades. And started her "inflexible" work, which have made power Britain for many years, whose opinion is listened unconditionally by all "the powerful of this world". Even US presidents were not able to resist the mind, the intellect and rigidity of Thatcher.
This paper has argued that a firm hand and authoritarian regime of Margaret Thatcher helped great Britain and all British people to feel the taste of victory and restore former power of the state. Margaret was always straightforward and steadfast in resolving issues at all levels. She fought hard with the unions, «whiners» and the unemployed. Many were repelled by her rigidity, but still most people went after her because of her determination in solving problems. So she was twice re-elected to the post of Prime Minister. None of the Prime Ministers of the twentieth century haven’t held the post for such a long time. She became a symbol of the Renaissance in the UK, being at the helm of the country.
Lady Thatcher have left a bright trace in the history of the world and influenced the way of thinking the whole of the UK. And her greatest legacy: an example for women-leaders that everything is possible if you really want it!
