Role of сustoms in ensuring economic security in the Republic of Belarus

To begin with, the main strategic goal of the development of the customs service of the Republic of Belarus is to ensure security in the field of foreign trade and promote foreign trade. Based on the main strategic goal, the main objective of the Customs service of the Republic of Belarus, as a state institution, is to increase the level of economic security of the country. It should be noted that State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus implements the state customs policy, provides regulation and control in the field of customs, coordinates other central government agencies and organizations in this field, protects within their competence the economic security of the Republic of Belarus and its economic interests.
