Regarding financing of the energy-efficient and renewable technologies it is reasonable to point out the following: the wide usage of public and international funds, the country’s concern in domestic and foreign direct investments. There are many of the opportunities provided for the legal implementing of various financing schemes and mechanisms as well as the state support for investment projects. The special funds created at the state and regional levels and within the national economy branches and enterprises are to assist the activity in the energy-efficient area. The cost savings generated in the result of power saving activities realization may be used to increase energy efficiency development and for the aims of awarding. The power saving funds can be formed within the enterprises. 
Specific benefits are provided for most significant energy efficiency projects and measures. The Government of Belarus guarantees most favorable conditions for foreign investors whose projects in the energy efficiency area are more socially relevant. At the same time, the penalties are defined for unsustainable use of resources.
